Students learned how to design and prototype their own mobile apps from scratch. One standout project: Fatama designed an app that gives resources to different opportunities in various career fields!
Co-founders Shivika and Esha led a multi-day virtual data science workshop teaching students Python fundamentals and how to analyze real-world data. Participants worked hands-on in Google Colab — learning dictionaries, sets, data structures, and core analysis techniques to draw insights from datasets.
Code Her World's first-ever hackathon challenged students to build holiday-themed applications over three weeks. With over 200 participants from around the world, the event was a huge success — teams submitted creative websites, games, and apps, and we awarded hundreds of dollars in prizes including Amazon gift cards, Interview Cake licenses, and gen.xyz domains.
Our month-long, five-session intro to web development camp taught students the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Meeting once a week over the course of a month, students built real websites from scratch and left with published projects and a strong foundation in frontend development.
